Getting to know our department

Understanding that the well-being of working children is intertwined with their family’s stability, our department is dedicated to the development, expansion, and fortification of social and labor insurance programs.

Core Activities:

  • Consultation and Guidance: Offer expert consulting services tailored to the unique needs of children and their families.
  • Knowledge Exchange: Foster communication with clinics and counseling centers to facilitate service provision and share insights.
  • Community Engagement: Engage with the living environments of children—homes, workplaces, neighborhoods—to identify and implement necessary interventions.
  • Legal Advocacy: Provide diligent follow-up on legal matters and children’s cases as required.
  • Educational Outreach: Conduct training sessions for volunteers and other stakeholders to enhance their capacity to assist effectively.
  • Research and Documentation: Compile and present statistics on the psychological impact of the living conditions faced by working and street children.
  • Policy Influence: Mobilize social advocacy to influence the Ministry of Labor, Cooperation, and Social Welfare towards our department’s primary objectives.
  • Academic Collaboration: Partner with academic institutions and students for joint research initiatives and scientific endeavors.
